Dr Kaul became a member of the medical team at HealthPlus Fertility in January 2024, bringing with him a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the field of urology. He began his medical journey by earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from University College London, United Kingdom in 2008.
Subsequently, he completed his residency with Health Education England in the United Kingdom, training at premier hospitals in London between 2014 and 2019. During his specialty training at University College London in 2018, Dr Kaul decided to take up further knowledge about andrology which explores the different aspects of medicine and surgery associated with the male reproductive system.
Prior to joining HealthPlus Fertility, Dr Kaul was head of specialist andrology service for the entire East of England region. Additionally, he still practiced general urology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust whilst working as a Consultant Urologist & Andrologist between September 2020 until 2023.
Dr Kaul has a large experience with urinary tract stone disease and other urologic problems such as male and female lower urinary tract symptoms, haematuria, as well as prostate cancer detection. As far as penile surgeries are concerned, his professional interests involve numerous cases especially circumcision, vasectomy reversal, and complex reconstructions with skin grafting or penile implantation. It is worth mentioning that his field is correction of penile curvature which demonstrates his dedication for all-rounded patient care.
Dr Kaul’s expertise extends to specialist scrotal microsurgery for infertility and pain where he excels in procedures such as microsurgical sperm retrieval, varicocele ligation, vasectomy reversal and denervation of the spermatic cord. Dr Kaul performs complex surgeries for genital skin disorders as well as penile prosthesis surgery and correction of penile curvature.
Dr Kaul was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Urology by the General Medical Council in 2019. Further underscoring his professional prowess, he successfully passed the Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Urology (FRCS Urol) in 2018, as accredited by the Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations.
